PRIVACY POLICY

Your right to privacy is very important. We realize that when you choose to provide us with personal information, you also trust us to act in a responsible manner.

We believe that the information you provide us should, in turn, be used to help us provide you with better service. That is why we have put a policy in place to protect your personal information.

Below is a summary of our policy.
In general, Pick and Post Community Services will not intentionally disclose individually identifiable information about our users to any third party without first receiving that users permission.

This policy applies specifically to your name, e-mail address, phone number, and any other individually identifiable information which we collect from our users.

So what do we collect?…

Our general policy is to only collect individually identifiable information that is absolutely necessary for a transaction or which is useful for our own internal operations. There is no required registration process to use the site; however, for those users who choose to post, we collect a user's e-mail address, phone contact, address and where applicable credit card number (specifically for payment purposes).

Also, we will record the e-mail addresses of those who post messages and comments, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, the e-mail addresses of those who make postings to our discussion areas, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by users, such as survey information, and the e-mail addresses of those posting comments on merchants, our buyers and our sellers.

For our own internal analysis and improvement, we will also track specific information about you as a user. This information includes the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our site or not), the URL that you next access (whether this URL is on our site or not), which browser you are using, and your IP address. Many sites automatically collect this information using widely available, web statistical tools.

If you choose to post, buy or sell on our site, we collect information about your posting, buying and selling behavior. We also collect other users' comments about you in our feedback area.

As afore mentioned, if you choose to establish a credit account with us, we collect some additional information, including billing address as well as credit cards details. If you choose to post messages in our message areas or leave feedback for other users, we will collect such information about you as you choose to disclose.

What do we do with the information that we collect?…

We rarely use your e-mail address, mailing address or phone number, except in the following instances :
1. To contact you regarding confirmation of your initial interaction with us.
2. Occasionally we will send important newsletters relating to the site.
3. We will use the billing address and credit card information to bill you.
4. We use statistical information and past archives to resolve any disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our terms and conditions of service.
We do not sell, lease or share our email lists, or lists of any other individually
identifiable information to other parties.


Protecting your Privacy

We will take appropriate steps to protect your privacy. Whenever you provide sensitive information (such as a credit card number), we will take reasonable steps to protect it, including encrypting your card number. We will also assume reasonable security measures to protect your personal information in storage. Credit card numbers are used solely for payment processing by our collecting agent and are not retained at all by Pick and Post Community Services.

We will not provide any of your personal information to other companies or individuals without your express permission.

Our website provides links to other web sites. Since we do not control those websites, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of these web sites.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the Pick and Post Community Services User Agreement.
